Northfield Joins the Spread-a-Bale Team

Northfield Agricultural Services Ltd – the newest member of Spread-a-Bale’s nationwide dealer network – expects great interest in the machine from its livestock farming customers.
The company is based at Halsham, near Hull, and will cover East Yorkshire and Holderness for Spread-a-Bale. It also holds franchises for Massey Ferguson, Fendt and JCB, as well as Joskin, Stewart Trailers, Vicon, Krone and McHale.
Sales Director Richard Cross says customers have been asking the company to find a machine that would help with spreading bedding straw:
“We have had customers asking us for a machine that would take the time and labour out of spreading bedding straw, so we expect considerable interest in Spread-a-Bale.
“As well as the time and labour savings, we expect them to make significant savings in the volume of straw they use. The fact that the machine easily attaches/detaches from the handler and does not tie it up will also be valuable to themâ€.
Tom Robinson, Sales Manager for Spread-a-Bale, says the machine is proving a major asset for busy farmers: “Spread-a-Bale can bed down livestock pens without staff having to enter the pen – essential for those raising bull beef.
